Medical Terminology
This course (AH100) teaches the language of medicine applicable to all health care occupations, including basic medical word roots, combining forms, prefixes, suffixes, abbreviations, and pronunciation.
Our self-paced course includes non-technical explanations and provides students with a working knowledge of terms used in anatomy, physiology, pathology, clinical procedures, laboratory tests.

Fee: $299, includes textbook
Prerequisite: Must be 18 years or older and speak, read, and write English at the 11th grade US high school level.
NCCRS College Credit Recommendations
More than 1,500 cooperating colleges and universities (including most California Community Colleges and Cal State Universities) will consider granting college credit based on NCCRS credit recommendations. Additional colleges may also award college units for SICE Medical Career Courses.
Covid-19 Vaccination Requirements
Since we do not offer a clinical externship component for Medical Terminology students, there is currently no requirement for Covid-19 vaccinations.
