ESL-IET: Machine Technology
Train for a rewarding career as a machinist while receiving English language support!
About ESL-IET: Machine Technology
Receive hands-on training in our Machine Technology shop. You will learn how to use lathes, mills, hand tools, and surface grinders, as well as blueprint-reading and shop math. Students will also receive help with speaking, reading, and math skills in English. Financial aid is available upon request.

Day: Monday - Thursday
Time: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Room: 606
Fee: $480 (safety equipment and textbook not included). Financial aid available upon request.
Prerequisites: Students must have a CASAS score of 5-6.

About ESL-IET Courses
Learn a new career while improving your English. Integrated Education and Training (IET) combines our English as a Secondary Language (ESL) classes with our Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. Complete a trade certification with ESL support. Students must have a CASAS score of 5-6.
