Hairstylist Certificate Program
NEW PROGRAM!
Simi Institute’s 600 hour Hairstyling Certificate Program offers students comprehensive training in hairstyling, haircutting, and advanced styling techniques. Students begin with foundational skills in hair design, cutting, and blow-drying, then progress to advanced techniques like braiding, updos, texturing, and men’s haircutting. The course also emphasizes professional salon practices, including sanitation, proper tool handling, and client services. In the final weeks, students gain hands-on experience in a salon environment, performing real services for clients under instructor guidance. Our Hairstylist Program can be completed in as few as three levels. Evening cohorts take approximately 8 months to complete. This course is designed to fully prepare students for entry-level hairstyling roles and is structured to meet industry standards. All beginning students must complete Related Science (Health & Safety) before starting this program. IN-PERSON CLASS.
To complete the Hairstylist Certificate program, students must complete 3 course levels, a minimum of 600 hours and all required practical operations.*
